Sports for people with a disability

"Sports day for people with a disability" is a project to include people with mental or physical disabilities in a fun, social and healthy activity. A group of university students go to a school or an institution to organize the sport day. Thanks to this project, the students will learn how to interact and communicate with people with a disability in a fun and easy way, since we don’t always learn this in the university. With this project, we hope to provide everyone (the students and people participating in the sports day) a fun and educational experience.
No previous experience is required for this project. All students are welcome, also from outside of medicine. The only thing you need on the sports day is your enthusiasm. This project may have different names in the different cities.

Contact the NORP (norp@bemsa.be) or you own local officer on human rights and peace if you want to learn more about this project.
