Introduction

Finding a cure is at the heart of every campaign, throughout the year we showcase the lifesaving cancer research conducted. Putting research and prevention first yet emphasising the human face of the disease is central to our approach.

Throughout the year we organise several cancer awareness campaigns. Many cities developed their own distinct projects however all serve common goals. 

On the one hand we want to raise awareness amongst medical students regarding the risk factors and prevalence of cancer, as well as inform them about possible preventive measures and screening programs. Many projects choose to shed light on specific cancers, often organising events on a date related to the cancer. 

Most importantly we raise money to support several cancer related charities and their quest for a cure.

Despite the astonishing medical progres, for many a cancer diagnosis still leads to an insecure future. Many projects aim to inform medical students of the perspective of patiënts, doctors and other healthcare workers. This is done through symposia and video interviews.

Mission

The project aims to inform students about the prevention and screening programs for cancer. It sheds light on the human perspectives of a cancer diagnosis and the groundbreaking research conducted. Most importantly, the campaigns aim to raise money for cancer related charities and research funds.

Our impact

Last year we organised 4 projects for Cancer Awareness.  We raised €35587,81 for cancer research.
